PT kapasari has been established for many years in Surabaya. It wa founded in 1950 under the name of CV. Sin Hua Printing Company by a group of teacher in the old Sin Hua Chinese School compound to cater to printing requirement in Surabaya. CV. SIn HUA Printing Company was acquired by Widjaja family in 1963 and the company name was changed to PT Kapasari in 1970. Within short periode of time,PT Kapasari made a bold move and purchased 1 four color printing press-THE FIRST in Surabaya. By the Mid-Eighties,two additional four color printing presses were added to our production fleet. A miletone in history was made when moved to current production facility in 1991 which covers an area of 20,000 square meters. The new fasctory has increased our production capacity by leaps and bounds. TWO ROLLAND 704 pressed were also installed which enable us to print even the most quality demanding jobs and to supprt our business growth. From being a printer of " packaging product "and " calendars ",we started to venture into export market in 1990 by printing " Children Novelty " items such as BOOKS,CARD GAMES, and EDUCATIONAL GAMES. PT Kapasari has done jobs for many major children publishing company both in the UNITED STATES as well as in EUROPE. Through hard work and experience over the years we have developed the expertise in tha area of Handwork. Our large pool workforce is capable of delivering jobs which require intricate hand work. Not lacking behind in technology advanced, we have recently installed new 6-color plus coating HEIDELBERG PRESS, another 4-color ROLAND 704 PRESS and CTP ( Computer Literate Plate ) plate setter. We have also purchased a high speed gathering and gluing machine for board book to bost our production capacity in tha book making area. In order to support further expansion, a new piece of land with total area of 40,000 square meters was acquired in 2003 by PT Kapasari. Our Machineries 1.
